Hello Church!
What a whirlwind couple of days it’s been! We’re thinking of you with all the difficulties that come with this lockdown order, both for those in the lockdown area and those who are locked out of it. We hope and pray that you and your family are safe and well. There are a couple of things we want to update you on as a church…
This Sunday Service – This Sunday we will be having an ONLINE service again. The great news is that the regulations specifically allow anyone needed for livestreaming to be on the church property. This means that the worship team will be leading us live that morning, over the livestream. Yay! We LOVED seeing so many people engage in the YouTube chat on Sunday, so please jump on and say hello again this week. You can find our service on our YouTube channel here https://shlhbr.cc/youtube or via our church website at 9:30am on Sunday. You can also find our service from last Sunday if you missed it!
Prayer Requests – We would love to be praying for you in this time! Whether that’s prayer for your kids as they are at home for two weeks, for finances due to lost work, for illness or for anything else. We want to stand with you. We will be praying for prayer requests together in our service on Sunday (we will keep all requests anonymous). You can submit prayer requests by filling out a blue card here:https://shellharbourcc.org.au/getinvolved/
Kids – Koz will be sharing with the kids again in the service on Sunday. Make sure to let us know if your kids are watching by messaging in the chat or texting Koz and they might get a shout out in the service! Unfortunately, the Kids Holiday Program scheduled for next Tuesday has been postponed.
Prayer Meeting – Prayer meeting is moving online during lockdown. Please email if you would like a zoom invitation for next Tuesday.
FoodCare – FoodCare will be open on Thursday from 10am – 2:30pm as usual with extra safety procedures in place. If you or someone you know is doing it tough during these times, and needs food assistance, please come during the open hours and speak to a member of the FoodCare team.
Manna Bookstore – Unfortunately, Manna Bookstore will be closed during this lockdown. The team are looking forward to opening up as soon as possible!
We hope to see you all back in the building very soon!
Blessings,
The Team at Shellharbour Community Church
