WHAT IS JESUS THE GAME CHANGER ABOUT?
We may not always realise it, but the teachings of Jesus have shaped many of the values on which the Western world was built—values that continue to permeate our culture today. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the disciples and early followers of Jesus bravely lived out and proclaimed God’s truth, bringing it into their vocations and daily lives. As a result, society was transformed!
Jesus the Game Changer is a resource developed from the documentary series by Karl Faase. It explores how the life and teachings of Jesus changed the world and why they still matter today.
Many of the values rooted in Jesus’ teaching are now being challenged within Western culture. Jesus the Game Changer helps us understand where these values came from and why they matter. It equips us to stand firm in the truth Jesus brought, so that we can faithfully pass it on to the next generation.
HOW DOES THE CHURCH – WIDE CAMPAIGN LOOK LIKE?
SUNDAYS: We will hear preaching on Jesus the Game Changer with topics such as Equality, Forgiveness, Women and Children, Democracy, Care, Leadership, Education and Health and more
WEEKLY: We encourage everyone to join a connect group for 8 weeks starting from the week of February 9th. Groups will be watching a multimedia presentation and then provide time for discussion.
HOW TO GET READY?
- Join a Connect Group in February 2026 Pray about creating space and setting priorities to be able to take part in a connect group. Be ready to sign up in January.
- Consider becoming a Connect Facilitator for 8 weeks by gathering a group around you. Email to find out more. There is an application process with training and support and resources for facilitators.
