Dominion Youth is a bunch of passionate teenagers with an awesome heart for God, and a thirst to see this city won for Gods purpose! We are the youth culture of Shellharbour Community Church, committed to reaching out to a lost and broken generation in desperate need of THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Headed up by an amazing team of young people who are dedicated to empowering the youth of Shellharbour to grow in God; Dominion is a great place to build friendships, and get connected with others who will help you to grow in faith and in God.
We get together every Friday night at 6:30 pm for years 6-12, at Shellharbour Community Church (next to the 7eleven on Shellharbour Rd). We would be stoked to meet you and get to know you, so come and check it out! AND YES IT IS FREE!!!
Our Vision: Empowering young people to live Christ centred lives.
As a youth ministry we will work to develop young people and young leaders who love God, put His will above their own and who take responsibility for their own discipleship. Passive attendees don’t change the world – passionate followers of God do. (Matthew 6:33)
We are committed to creating a welcoming, accepting environment where people feel comfortable to be themselves and to be real about their lives. We care about family – our youth family, our church family and your personal family. (Matthew 12:49-50)
We are committed to becoming the absolute best place for young people to be on a Friday night. Jesus was all about living life to the full and so are we. (John 10:10)
No matter the number of people attending our ministry we, like Jesus, focus on, invest in and love individuals. We aim to create an environment where each and every person feels seen, heard and loved. (Luke 8:43-48)
As Dominion we do not exist simply for ourselves but will continually seek to reach out to the lost, invest into the lives and ministries of other people and meet the practical needs of this broken world. We will work in unity with our church and the Body of Christ worldwide to bring the Kingdom of God on this earth. (Matthew 28:18-20)
